How to action subtasks
If the subtasks are being used in tasks as a checklist, they are quick to action in the mobile app.
If the tasks has subtasks, there will be a indicator and count of subtasks in the List tab.
When selecting the task, scroll down on the Add Information screen until you see the Subtasks section.
There is an option to click on the answer on the task information screen or you can use the green arrow to select the status. On that next page, there is the option to add a comment and/or image to that individual Subtask History.
Everything can be done on that page by clicking the button and a user can also add comments and/or images to the main Task History, after the subtasks section.
Adding subtasks in SolarGain mobile
Subtasks can be added in the mobile app if the user has Editor permissions for that task list. At the top of the subtask section, here will be an "Add subtask" button where the subtask can be added from the app if desired.
If that button is not on that screen, it means that the user does not have Editor permissions for that task list. Task permissions can only be changed in the portal on the
Edit Task page.
Additionally, you can request further support below or contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM).
