Using Thermographic Searches in the Digital Twin

Using Thermographic Searches in the Digital Twin

The Digital Twin page is a geospatial representation of the site which shows all the main electrical components of the site: transformers, inverters, combiner boxes, strings and modules. The Digital Twin aggregates all information based on a component, rather than in a single Thermographic report. Some might have observations linked to that component, that help see the visual evidence and any other valuable information tied to that component.

This functionality is available on the solar plants which are on a PRO subscription. Please see the examples below:

Preventative Maintenance

Preventative maintenance is a proactive strategy involving routine checks, cleaning, adjustments, and replacements of parts to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure and unplanned downtime.

Corrective Maintenance

Corrective maintenance is a reactive approach that involves fixing equipment or components after a failure has been detected, whether by remote monitoring or during an inspection.

Search Examples

Locate thermal anomalies resolved

Anomalies appear in a given year, absent in subsequent analysis.

Locate new thermal anomalies

Anomalies identified in a recent year, not observed in previous reports.

Locate persisting thermal anomalies

Anomalies detected in a specific year, continuing through to subsequent years.

Locate modules with a thermal anomaly and visual damage

Modules with a thermal anomaly and visual evidence attached.

Locate modules with thermal anomalies, belonging to different electrical zones

Anomalies contained on a transformer level

Anomalies contained on an inverter level

Anomalies contained on a string level

Locate underperforming strings
