Thermographic Dashboard Overview
To access the Thermographic reports, there are 2 pages that will list the reports:
- Solar plant landing page: Reports section
- Click "View All" at the top of the section will lead to the Reports page
- Reports page listed in left menu so can be accessed there
The first tab in the Thermographic report is the Dashboard. The page has a summary section and charts section.
This report has the tools on top that apply to the entire Thermographic report.
- The report date
- Advanced filter
- On this page, when the relevant filters are applied, all the data/charts could change, except the text in the "Technical summary and analysis" window.
- Exports
- Exports are not affected by the Advanced filter
- Sharing
- Sharing is not affected by the Advanced filter
How to prioritise anomalies using this dashboard?
This video helps clarify how the summary data and charts can help manage anomalies.
Each summary area lists the following:
- Anomalies identified
- This is the number of anomalies found in the report
- Impacted modules
- Since some anomalies can cover multiple modules, this number could be bigger than "anomalies identified" if an entire table or string is affected
- % surveyed modules
- Out of all surveyed modules, this % represents the proportion that are impacted
- Anomalies resolved
- Anomalies can be physically resolved in the map or list views
- Anomalies can also be resolved if added to a task, an option once competed
- GSD
- This is the Ground-sampling distance. Of a camera mounted on a UAV (i.e drone) – the distance on the ground represented by 1 pixel in the resulting digital image.
- The options are 3, 5.5 or 8 cm.
- % Power loss
- Depending on the solar plant, this number will either display:
- Simple power loss estimation
- CREST power loss estimation, which displays a link to more detailed page
Technical summary and analysis
Once the report has been through the analysis and quality assurance process, a custom summary is added to this report with remediation recommendations. This differs between reports, depending on the anomalies found.
Chart section
Anomaly type / Root cause chart
- This chart shows the number of anomaly types with their corresponding root causes. If there is no root cause, this will be included in the chart as "No root cause".
- The chart can also be filtered by one or more root causes, making it easier to focus on those requiring immediate attention.
Anomaly groups chart
- Anomaly groups outline the overall category of the anomaly, helping you to understand and prioritise the required follow-up actions.
Temperature analysis chart
- This chart shows an indication of normalised temperature (ΔTn) with anomaly count.
- Delta-Tn (ΔTn) means temperature gradient normalised to a standard irradiance of 1000 W/㎡.
