Using the Map and List to Manage Anomalies

Using the Map and List to Manage Anomalies

The details of each Thermographic report reside in the Map and List views. The Map tab displays each individual or group of modules. The List tab displays anomaly data in a table format. The Advanced filter will apply to the Dashboard charts, Map and List tabs to target specific anomalies.

Map tab

This map tab gives users a clear, visual way to understand inspection results. Instead of just reading a list of anomalies, they can:
  1. See the exact location of defects on the site map, down to string or module level
  2. Prioritise repairs by spotting clusters of anomalies or patterns in certain areas
  3. Compare thermal and RGB imagery in the right drawer, helping to validate issues

List tab

This tab displays a table view of all anomalies. Like the map, it has the same right hand drawer when clicking on each row.

The columns show:
  1. Anomaly number (to correspond with map)
  2. Root cause
  3. Anomaly group
  4. ΔTm
  5. ΔTn
  6. Thermographic image
  7. RGB image
  8. Date of image capture
  9. Modules impacted
  10. String name
  11. Location
  12. View on map (taking you to the selected anomalies on the map view)

The first column allows for multi-selection by sorting the columns or using the Advanced filter to find the anomalies.

The actions dropdown allows the following (single or bulk selection):
  1. Resolve anomalies
  2. Unresolve anomalies
  3. Edit root cause
  4. Add to tasks

If you have further questions, click on the Thermographic FAQs, submit a ticket below or contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM).

Right-hand drawer

The right-hand drawer is listed both on the Map and List tab. This right-hand drawer displays details (if available):
  1. Anomaly reference number
  2. Anomaly type
  3. Root cause
  4. Anomaly group
  5. Peak temp
  6. Ref temp
  7. EC
  8. ΔTm
  9. ΔTn
  10. Date
  11. Modules impacted
  12. String name
  13. Serial number
  14. Table name
  15. Tracker name
  16. Module column
  17. Module row
  18. Latitude
  19. Longitude
Actions that can be taken from the right drawer:
  1. Edit root cause
  2. Resolve anomaly
  3. Add to tasks
