What is a Task Template?
A template is a pre-defined list of subtasks that can be added when a user is adding tasks from:
- A thermographic or other report
- Observation(s)
- Annotation(s) from Development & Construction events
- A returned search from the Digital Twin
Setting up a template
Templates are managed on a portfolio level, so they can be applied to tasks in any solar farm the user has access to. The templates can be accessed from the left menu. A new template can be added by clicking on the "Add Template" button in the upper right corner.
The user will need to add a template name and at least one subtask, with the selection criteria.
- Subtask name
- Selection type:
- The default selection will be "Pass/Fail/NA".
- The chosen selection type depends on what information needs to be actioned from the subtask
Pass/Fail/NA, which is used for a checklist-style action e.g. "Check cable connection"
Number, which is used for a type of measurement e.g. Module temperature measurement (C)
Date, which would be displayed if a task was date dependent e.g. "Serial number added"
Text, which could be used for anything answer that might need to be alphanumeric
