Data Upload
Data is uploaded via our dedicated portal at https://data-upload.abovesurveying.com/. You will be provided with a SolarGain account as well as a Signiant Media Shuttle account during the onboarding process; this will allow you to log in and upload data. Signiant Media Shuttle is a data transfer platform that allows for the fast and secure transfer of data direct to SolarGain.

Login and Upload data
You will need to log in using your SolarGain email and password. If you need to reset your password, please enter your email address and click continue – a forgot password link will appear on the next page.
Once you are logged in, you will then have access to the upload portal main page, where you will have a list of all jobs that have been assigned to you.
You will then need to connect your Media Shuttle account to upload data.
Please note your Media Shuttle credentials may be different to your SolarGain credentials. You will also need to use multi-factor authentication to log in – a code will be sent to your registered email address.
Once you have logged in to the upload portal and connected your Media Shuttle account, you can then select the job for which you wish to upload data.
Once you have clicked Select Folder and chosen the relevant folder from your local files for upload, the upload portal will carry out preliminary checks on these files.
Parameters for checking include file naming, data GSD and the presence of a flight log. Any data that is not within specification will be flagged, and any missing files (especially the flight log) will not permit upload.
In this example, the data checker has flagged that a flight log is not present within the selected files, and no images have been found in the folder for Zone 2.
Data Ownership and Retention
All inspection data and imagery captured while performing data collection services for Above remain the property of Above.
Drone service providers (DSP) must treat all data as confidential, and it may not be shared with any third party without the prior written permission of Above.
All data collected by the DSP on behalf of Above must be stored securely by the DSP for a period of no less than 6 months. Please confirm with your designated ROC if, after 6 months, you wish to dispose of this data.
