Thermographic Report - Survey Compare

Introduction

The Survey Compare tool enables you to:
  1. Compare up to 3 inspections
  2. Have a high-level anomaly comparison
  3. Look at the evolution per module
  4. Get a detailed breakdown for each status

The Survey Compare page has been designed to match the layout of the Reports pages, with three separate and easy to use tabs. In the next pages we will go through each tab and see what information is available.

Compare Anomaly Types

The first tab, Compare Anomaly Types, gives you an overview of the evolution of the number of anomalies found in the inspections being compared. This gives you a good indication of the overall evolution but does not reflect whether these were found on the same modules or on different ones.

Compare History

The second tab is Compare History. It is an interesting and dynamic page, information appears when hovering over (as below), whereby you can:
  1. Understand the increase/decrease in total number of anomalies
  2. Understand the general tendencies of the site
  3. Start investigating any potential trends of the site
  4. Evaluate whether the state of the site is due to poor management or due to quality of the components

List View

The last tab is a detailed List View of each category.
  1. Improved: Modules with anomaly in the older report only
  2. Degraded: Modules with anomaly in the latest
  3. Ongoing: Modules with anomalies in both reports. Ongoing anomalies can be:
    1. Persisting: Same anomaly type
    2. Evolving: New anomaly type

This page allows you to understand where any remedial work has been done properly (Improved), to evaluate any new and potentially serious issues (SEHP in Degraded category) as well as identifying any significant evolution on your site.
